The eighth Regional Brewer Calibration Center for Europe (RBCC-E) intercomparison take place at at El Arenosillo Atmospheric Sounding Station of the\u00a0Instituto Nacional de T\u00e9cnica Aeroespacial<\/i>\u00a0(INTA) \u00a0from \u00a0June 10-20, 2013.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The campaign were organized in collaboration with the\u00a0Area of Instrumentation and Atmospheric Research<\/i>\u00a0of INTA, with the support of the Global Atmospheric Watch (GAW) program of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and a CEOS Intercalibration of ground-base spectrometers and lidar project of the European Space Agency (ESA). \u00a0 In total 30 participants of 10 different countries attended the intercomparison \u00a0with 18 brewer spectrometers. Whichs \u00a0allow to have a global view of the brewer network performance.<\/p>\n

\u00a0At the same time of the campaign a brewer operator training course \u00a0was held, \u00a0 in collaboration of \u00a0the Extremadura University and funded by WMO through\u00a0Spanish Trust Funds which cover the participation of Morocco, Algerian and Egypt operators.<\/p>\n
